Gary Moore will attend a luncheon to discuss his book Playing with the Enemy: A Baseball Prodigy, World War II, and the Long Journey Home. Moore's father was signed by the Brooklyn Dodgers in 1940, and soon became a member of a U.S. Navy baseball team that entertained American troops in World War II.The team was assigned to guard a secret group of German POWs whom they eventually taught to play ball.
